Since 2019, we've been hosting travellers, remote workers, and long-stay guests in the middle of one of the world's most electric cities — Chungmuro, Seoul, where old and new collide on every block.
Our story
Why we started PROW
Seoul is one of the easiest cities in the world to fall in love with — and one of the hardest to stay in properly. Short-term options are either overpriced hotels built for tourists, or bare-bones guesthouses that make you feel like you're passing through. We wanted something in between: a real home base, in a real neighbourhood, at a price that made a longer stay possible.
PROW started with a single room in Chungmuro in 2019. The location was deliberate. We're not in the middle of a tourist trap — we're at the edge of Myeongdong and the beginning of Euljiro, where Seoul's creative scene has been quietly remaking itself for the past decade. Old printing shops next to specialty coffee roasters. Pojangmacha alleys a block from Michelin-starred restaurants. It's the kind of neighbourhood that rewards people who stay long enough to notice it.
Every room at PROW is set up the way we'd want to live — proper desk, fast Wi-Fi, kitchen, washing machine, blackout curtains. All utilities included. Keypad entry so you come and go on your own schedule. And a host who's reachable when you need them and out of your way when you don't.

Between the tourist energy of Myeongdong and the creative buzz of Euljiro, Chungmuro sits quietly in the middle — with excellent subway access (Lines 3 and 4), Namsan a short walk away, and Myeongdong Cathedral around the corner. It's the part of Seoul that guests always say they wish they'd discovered sooner.
